A
lumni spanning 60 years of Theta Delta history joined active
brothers and National Fraternity leadership to celebrate
100 years of our Alpha at UW.
Chi Psi Executive Director Sam Bessey, Eta Delta '97,
National President Bill Hattendorf, Alpha Delta '69, and
former Educational Trust Chair and Theta Delta Visitor
Julian Emerson, Beta '80 joined us as we celebrated our centennial
and shared our plans for 100 more years of excellence at UW.
Key highlights include:
• Brother Craig Bartleson '89 prepared an incredible meal
for attendees, along with an equally amazing cake to
celebrate our centennial.
• Brother Bessey graciously announced that the Central Office
would pay for five undergraduate brothers to visit other Alphas
in order to build bonds across the country.
• Brother Jay Cochran '76 presented a "Chi Psi" license plate
from his time in Hawaii after college. He had held on to his
plates for more than 30 years and presented one to the
undergraduates as a centennial gift.
We greatly appreciate all who were able to attend and look forward
to seeing everyone at our next alumni event.
