November 17, 2021 www.DesertMessenger.com 25 DesertMessengerNews CECILE "CEE" CARNEVALE Cecile "Cee" Carnevale passed away at home on August 20, 2021 at the age of 76. Born in Lowell, Mass. on August 25, 1944, she was the daugh- ter of Cecile and Delbert Bourdeu who have both passed away. LORETTA SUE WHITE Loretta Sue White, wife, mother and friend entered God's Kingdom on October 7, 2021. "Sue" was born to Paul Brotherton and Opal Trent on November 6, 1943 in Globe Ari- zona. She is survived by her hus- band Michael White, her children Francine "Shelley" Marciel, Jesse Ryan DeBrotherton, and Paul Sin- gleton, her grandchildren Christine Gumbert, Joseph Skeen, and Brian Skeen, and 13 great grandchildren. She was passionate about arts and crafts, which include sewing and making jewelry, and loved decorat- ing for the holidays. Sue worked as a real estate agent and taught real estate at Butte College in California. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly. A celebration of life for Sue White will be held in the future. In Memoriam She was also predeceased by both- ers Richard Bourdeau and Ronald Bourdeu and sisters Trudy Picker- ing and Evelyn Schofi eld. Dee was the beloved wife of Antho- ny "Tony" Carnevale with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. She is survived by four children; Paul Car- nevale (Tammy) of Quartzsite; Lee Ann Parent (Jeff) of Rochester, NH; twin boys Keith Carnevale (Kerry) of Westford, MA and Kevin Carnevale (Joyce) of Chester, NH. She also has fi ve grandchildren: Angela Harriso of Sanddown, NH; Emily Carnevale of Quartzsite, AZ; Vincent Car- nevale of Quartzsite, AZ; Katherine Carnevale of Westford, MA; Abigail Carnevale of Westford, MA. Cee also co-owned and operated the Razors Edge, a barber shop with her husband Anthony for 25 years before moving to Quartzsite, AZ. She was the President of the Quartzsite Business Chamber of Commerce for 15 years before they retired. Some of the events she helped organize for the Business Chamber included the CASI Chili Cookoff and Salsa Competition for several years; the annual Christmas Light Parade for 13 years, Santa's Workshop Craft Festival at Tyson Wells every year it was going. She also was a member of the Quartzsite Fire Auxiliary for many years. Cee was a gifted crafter, a great pro- moter of Quartzsite and a very well loved friend to many in our town who knew here.
