DDD Delta Xi Chapter at the University of Missouri Fall 2021 CAPITAL CAMPAIGN ENTERS FINAL PHASE Alumnae Weekend Celebrated Our Sisters A New Look f 901 Campaign En December 31 D elta Xi alumnae enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Mizzou on September 17-18. We were able to spend quality time together and reconnect, just like old times. The opportunity to show off our Chapter House's beautiful interior renovations during an Open House on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning was very exciting. We welcomed University leaders, a University Curator, and alumnae from our local community as well as from Kansas City, St. Louis, and Kennett, Missouri; Arkansas; and South Dakota! The families of our collegiate members, as it was Mizzou Family Weekend, enjoyed seeing the house as well. Those in attendance were extremely impressed with the renovations and loved hearing about the chapter. We also held a wonderful social gathering on Friday evening at the home of Heidi Riemann Miles '80 and her husband, John. The party was a hit, and everyone enjoyed a lovely evening. Glenda Hall '71 commented on the occasion, "The evening was perfect in every way. I was able to meet other Deltas I didn't know and reconnect with ones that I hadn't seen for years. It made being a Tri Delta incredibly special." Celebrating a Mizzou football victory was the perfect way to end the weekend. The house corporation board would like to extend a huge thank-you to all the alumnae, spouses, and friends who participated in such a wonderful weekend. Showing the house brought excitement to all and reminded us just how thankful we are to those who donated to A New Look for 901 to make these renovations happen. Thanks to 142 generous donors, we have raised $379,460, bringing us only $120,000 short of our capital campaign goal. While these donations have significantly enhanced our Chapter House, our work is not yet done. Our campaign will come to a close on December 31. You can help to ensure our future success by making a gift today. Your gift could be the difference in us hitting our $500,000 goal. We hope that we will have your support in these final months of fundraising. Whether you've made a pledge previously or have been waiting on the sidelines, it is time to invest in our chapter and to consider the impact you will make. For those who haven't donated, we hope you'll look back at your Tri Delta experience and remember what wonderful gifts this chapter has given you. If you've already committed, please consider adding an additional year to your pledge. As alumnae, it is our responsibility to help ensure Delta Xi's future and support our current and future members. Your donations will benefit the chapter in so many ways! Again, we thank our loyal donors who have helped to significantly enhance our home. Donors who contribute a minimum of $2,500 to the campaign can look forward to being recognized on a plaque prominently displayed in our Chapter House!
