ctober has been designated by the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) as National Dental Hygiene Month to raise awareness about the importance of preventing disease and maintaining good oral health as well as recognizing the diligent work of dental hygienists. Davis and Beyer Dental Health Professionals, located in downtown Venice, specialize in Cosmetic and Implant Services as well as Comprehensive and Preventative Dental Care for to patients of all ages. The practice prides itself on the white smiles of their patients as well as the ones worn by their Dental Hygiene Team - Linda, Donna, Shawn, Elisha, Alejandra and Theresa. With a combined 92 years of service within the practice, they strive to improve the health and smiles of their patrons. Most of the team has been influenced by either supportive parental figures or a mentor – most notably Dr. Ronald Higel who was the original owner of the practice. With friendly faces and gentle hands, they work to create an environment where their patients know they are sincerely being cared for with optimum oral health in mind. The practice thinks the supportive nature and commitment to working together both professionally and personally makes their hygiene team stand out. They've created a level of trust within the group, enabling them to establish relationships with each other and their patients – increasing everyone's overall well-being. This concept has worked well because each individual is a compassionate, goal oriented and skilled member of the team. Collectively, they are guided by the philosophy of being kind, respectful and doing whatever it takes to make the day of anyone who sits in their chair better and brighter – all while providing excellent, informative care.
