Highland Presbyterian Church,

Glenn Jernigan. A two-term
member of the N.C. House
from 1971 to 1975 and three-
term member of the N.C.
Senate from 1975 to 1982,
Jernigan died Sept. 3 at age

The Indigo Moon Film Festival returns for its sixth year with
two in-person events along with a full schedule of films
that movie-lovers can enjoy virtually. "Raya and the Last
Dragon" will be showing Oct. 7 at a free family film night at
Segra Stadium, while "Peace by Chocolate," will be shown
at Segra Stadium Oct. 8. "It's a film about diversity and
resilience … what we've all
had to live our lives over
the past year,"
said Jan Johnson.. "It's based on
a true story and is absolutely
heartwarming. Exactly what
we need to see right now."
