2 Seabury Traditis and Culture As an Episcopal school, Seabury has chapel every Wednesday morning in place of the morning meeting. Chapel A special community service workday, with a presentation by the seniors and practice for Convocation. Heritage Day Our annual Founder's Day celebration, in which we rededicate ourselves to the educational mission of the school. Cvocati Sometime during the year, students and faculty are given a surprise day off from aca- demics and take buses to a fun, all-day event! Headmaer's Hiday This festive gathering after finals in May involves outside games, food, and great per- formances by the student and faculty bands. Seabury Palza This holiday is a BIG deal at Seabury. Students and faculty alike celebrate in the best and most creative ways! International educational travel is a long- standing tradition at Seabury and open to any grade of student. Internatial Educatial Trip During the week before spring break, faculty and students participate in a series of fun, inventive, and competitive events. Spring Fever Grudge Match Haown Our annual special celebration of grandparents and those close to us. Grandparent/Family Friend Day The school's most cherished and memora- ble ceremony where graduates are recog- nized and our other students literally "step up" to their next grade. Stepping Up Our newest tradition to prepare our freshmen for the joys and challenges of the next four years. 9th Grade Retreat A special day each year when students can explore classes on subjects outside the nor- mal curriculum. Learning is about enthusi- asm and exploration! Renaiance Day
