2021 BEST OF MILPITAS T he 2021 Best of Milpi- tas, which comprises this special 24-page section, represents read- ers' favorites for the city's restaurants, shops, schools, business people — you name it. The 2021 Best of Milpitas is a special project of the Milpitas Post newspaper. This survey is not scientific and does not claim to be. But it does reflect opinions of those Milpitas residents who feel strongly about a business, place or person, and all votes that were legitimately fielded were objectively analyzed and counted. All ballots mailed in or logged online from July 1 through August 8 and that maintained the rules were exhaustively reviewed. When the Best of Milpitas winner was closely followed by others, the honorable mentions were recognized with an Honor Award. In some categories there may only be one or two hon- orable mentions. In others, such as Best Dentist or Best Restaurant there are many since vote tallies were signifi- cant for several businesses. The outright winner is listed first, below the category header. When two businesses tied for first place, both appear above the Honor Awards. This list provides recognition for businesses that try harder to satisfy their customers. It is also a good guide for newcomers to get acquainted with merchants recommended by their neighbors. Starting next week, it can be found all year at bestofmilpitas.com.
