You are beyond mental and physical exhaustion. The world and its demands keep on coming, but you lack the emotional strength to meet them. The question on your heart is, "how can I possibly do what needs to be done?" I know this sounds simplistic, but what we need is new strength. This strength does not come in the form of an energy drink or a pill. It is born from your weakness. When we get to the point that we cannot go any further, then we will be ready to receive the help we so desperately need. Our brokenness will lead us to reach out to someone with infi nite strength. The greatest strength we can fi nd is in a relationship with God. He tells us that when we are weak and heavy laden that we are to cast our burdens on Him, and He will give us rest (Matthew 11:28). As we commune with Him in prayer, He will give us the grace to face the demands of the day (Hebrews 4:16). In our weakness, we will fi nd new strength to face life's challenges.
