Board of Directors announced the appointment of a new Board Presi-
dent during their August 5th meeting. Johnson Frais replaces Shanana
Rain Golden-Bear, who resigned in April due to health issues after serv-
ing as President for almost 4 years. Frais will be responsible for advanc-
ing the business interests in the community and serving the member-
ship in the areas of leadership growth, residential growth, advocacy,
economic growth, and community alignment. Frais has been a member
of the chamber since its beginning in 2015 and served as Vice President
for almost 4 years. Frais is owner of 88 Shades RV Park in Quartzsite.
