Sweet + Spicy Roasted Nuts
These roasted nuts have become a
favorite in our picnic baskets and
gift boxes. That ideal combination of
crunchy, salty, sticky and sweet makes
these nuts the perfect addition to any
cheese board, on an hors d'oeuvre plat-
ter, or simply as a moreish snack.
¼ cup honey
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 cups assorted nuts (we love almonds
and cashews)
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 350°. Line a baking
sheet with parchment paper
In a large saucepan, warm the honey
and coconut oil over medium heat
until bubbling. Add in the nuts, rose-
mary, crushed red pepper flakes and
salt and stir to combine.
Transfer the nuts to the baking sheet
and bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring
halfway through. The nuts are done
when they are golden brown and
bubbling. Let cool completely before
enjoying.
Store in the refrigerator.
