Suna has always done both Cen- turion and Couture, and in the two years that I have been with the com- pany, my travel schedule is impacted by both shows. I planned who I would see at the shows, and traveled to those who were not planning on attending. At the beginning of 2021, Aron and Jonathan Suna were very concerned about how the pandemic would im- pact our safety. Since no one could predict what this year would bring, we made a decision not to do those shows this year. So that is a major change in your planning. A. Completely! I personally have always enjoyed the shows because of the environment they provide for meeting new people and recon- necting with clients. It's always so energizing. But once we made the decision, we never looked back. I restrategized about how I could maximize my time and engage with everyone. Company wide, it has been a much more personal ap- proach. We've created a substantial Look Book that highlights our entire collection, as well as amped up our outreach efforts to current and pro- spective clients. Q. How has that worked out? A. Heidi Cook: It's been tremen- dous, but the single best thing for me so far has been the amount of genuine quality time that I have got- ten to spend with retailers. Time in the store, time with the staff, time with their clients. Owners, buyers, sales and marketing staff, I have had the chance to really connect with them about our collection.
