Tuck-pointing improvements and upgrading the landscaping are being completed in addition to proposals for an awning and power washing. Larger changes are planned for the lakeside of the house, including new stairs on the west side, terrace doors, new windows, additional shutters, a 20-foot flagpole, a firepit entertainment area, and landscaping improvements. With your ongoing support, all of this will be in place for our 150th anniversary in 2023. Along with these planned changes, we are considering building a replica of the original veranda. e veranda will be added to the plan if interest is strong and sufficient contributions beyond the targeted $1.5 million are raised.
