an effort to both save costs and successfully reach
more of our alumni brothers, future Gamma-Rho

For decades, the Gamma Rhover newsletter
has provided our alumni brothers with periodic
updates about the Chapter. In 2008, longtime
Sigma Phi Housing Corporation President Bob
Canfield, ΓΡ 876, led the effort to bring us this
newsletter in its current, biannual form. Without
his leadership, this publication simply would
not exist. We sincerely thank Bob for his tireless
effort in spearheading and overseeing more than
a decade of what's become the cornerstone of
our alumni communications.
As our Gamma-Rho alumni base continues
to grow, printing and mailing costs have
progressively increased. And with many of our
alumni brothers periodically moving across the
country, it's becoming increasingly difficult
to ensure that these printed newsletters are
successfully delivered.
We want to ensure that you receive your
Gamma-Rho updates. We also want to ensure
that your generous financial gifts are utilized
as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Accordingly, we'll be fully transitioning
these and other alumni updates to our online
platforms. This change yields several benefits
that we hope you will enjoy as a loyal alumnus
of Gamma-Rho:

• The option for more frequent updates so
that you can follow the success of our
undergraduate brothers in real time;

We understand this is a change from our current
way of doing things. But just as Bob and other
alumni brothers built the Gamma Rhover into
what it is today, we're confident that this new,
online format will continue that same mission
of building a stronger and better-connected
Gamma-Rho alumni network. We're excited
for what lies ahead, and we look forward
to connecting with you through these new
communications!
