A lthough the 2021-21 school year posed new obstacles and challenges we could have never predicted, we at Alpha Xi have strengthened the bond of all brothers in our chapter by banding together and tackling the trials and tribulations that have been placed in front of us. Through hard work and dedication to the betterment of our chapter, we have successfully abided by and navigated through COVID-19 guidelines, IFC regulations, and post- membership review requirements. Our entire chapter is heading in the right direction as we have expanded our executive team, raised the chapter GPA, initiated 33 new members, organized numerous philanthropic events, and plan to (once again) have the house back to full capacity this fall. Teamwork really does make the dream work, and the two of us could not have made it through this year if it were not for the countless brothers who bought in and refused to let us be anything short of great. We are more than confident that Alpha Xi is in capable hands moving forward, and we do not foresee us going anywhere but up. The fall class of 23 was initiated on September 26, and the spring class of 10 was initiated on March 6. Each of these men were put through the Preparation for Brotherhood program, a five-week pledge experience, informing them of the founding and values of our fraternity. As the magister to the pledges, I was their leader and guide throughout the five weeks and in the months since. Personally, I have created a lifelong bond with each of them and know their futures are very bright in this house. The ambition shown with these members is evident in their daily lives and will be evident in for years to come.
