Alumni News in particular have been busy thanks to multiple facility upgrades, including sprinklers and air conditioning, as well as long-term structural maintenance. "We've been able to do all of this while still remaining financially sound, even during these past two years through the pandemic," he said. "We still have lots of work to do, but it is rewarding to keep improving the living experience at the Chapter House." For Darrell, the years of serving the Chapter have all been worth it. "It is important that alumni continue the legacy of what came before each of us, and to help sustain it in the future. Connecting with current members lets them know that they are part of an organization that exists for longer than just the time you are in college." If you are interested in joining the House Corporation, Darrell would love to hear from you. "It is probably time for some new ideas and energy on the team, and it would be good to have a new leader at some time in the future. We can always use help."
