MAY 22 2021 CCA Regional (North Carolina and South Carolina) Time Trial Road Cycling Championship The town of Wade has been selected as the site for the 2021 CCA Regional (North Carolina and South Carolina) Time Trial Road Cycling Championship. The public is invited to attend as either free of charge spectators or as competitors. THROUGH JAN. 28, 2022 African Americans Building Fayetteville An exhibition at the Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum that showcases the extraordinary work of prominent black architects and builders in Fayetteville from the Antebellum period through the early 20th century. Their hard work and craftsmanship have given Fayetteville some of its most treasured landmarks, many of which are still in use today. The museum is at 325 Franklin St. and admission is free. MAY 15, 8 A.M. - 5 P.M.• DERBY RUN The fifth annual Derby Run in memory of Justin Lopes will begin at Terry Sanford High School, with 5k and 10k courses and a 1-mile Fun Run and face painting.
