While the circumstances were unusual, we made the most of our true and constant sisterhood and still do. Last fall, our events were limited, but we were able to host a profit share with Modern Market and raise funds for Girls on the Run. This spring we will be partnering with other restaurants in the Dallas area. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE Our women excelled in the hybrid learning environment. Sixteen of our members achieved a 4.0 GPA last semester, and 25% of our women attained a cumulative GPA above a 3.8. We are among the top ranked NPC sororities on our campus academically. HOMECOMING 2020 In the fall, we partnered with Beta Upsilon Chi (BYX) for Homecoming. We embraced the theme of There's No Place Like Home as our outgoing president, Sydney Atlass '18, represented Gamma Phi as Homecoming candidate. Our float placed second overall and our women enjoyed representing GPHI decked out in pink. RECRUITMENT RECAP Throughout the fall semester we continued our COB efforts and welcomed three new members into our sorority! Furthermore, in the spring we successfully participated in virtual formal recruitment where our women worked tirelessly on Zoom to recruit 23 new members. We are elated to introduce the following women to the executive board: Abbie Haws '20, AVP; Katherine Scalise '19, EVP; Kynleigh Williams '20 MVP; Summer Rettig '20, FVP; Brooke Weber '20, PRVP; and Erin Morris '20, PAVP. ROOM TO BLOOM THIS SPRING We are excited for the spring semester as we will be hosting numerous sisterhood events and holding a socially distanced formal at a movie theater.
