COVID-19 has served a reminder that as one door closes, another opens. We increased our GPA to 3.45, recruited a fall new member class virtually, and had brothers serve in leadership roles on campus when they were needed the most. I got to see exactly how committed the active members are to our fraternity. And I am proud. Prioritizing Brotherhood We recognized the dangers that an isolated world poses to the mental health of young men, so we doubled down on our commitment to brotherhood. In response, a new chairman position was created, membership wellness, and an additional brotherhood chairman was added. At least once a week, we host small-group events that focus on brotherhood and building the bonds that we've all experienced. Excited for the Future Looking ahead, the future could not be brighter. The brothers are excited about the House Corporation's work in purchasing the apartment at 801 Moro St. From the executive board leaders to the associate membership, everyone is doing their part to promote friendship, develop character, advance justice, and assist in the acquisition of a sound education. Spirits are higher than ever as we eagerly await moving into our new home this fall. With every passing day, each of you continuously prove that the chapter has some of the best alumni. The care you show through your continued involvement in assisting our chapter allows us to produce the golden standard of fraternity men. For this, we cannot thank you enough. We hope that the fall semester will return to somewhat normal, and we hope to see you in Manhattan! Until then, stay safe, stay healthy, and always remember, it's a great day to be a Delta Chi!
