Keith Bushey '86 and Scott Daugherty '86 in February 2021 outside the Malibu Grill in downtown Bloomington. the first week of in-person classes began the first week of February. Classes will run straight through to the first week of May without any spring break time off. Again, the abnormal schedule is an effort to protect the testing bubble for students until the end of the semester. While everything is tentative, Little 500 races have been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 26, at 4 pm. Our current estimate is that the race will be run, but there will ne NO spectators. We hope that is not the case. Acacia has one returning veteran and four rookies. COVID-19 adaptability is key for everything with the race for 2021. Rookie rider learning time at the track and spring series races will be important milestones for the team's development. The only worry would be if we get any positive cases or a quarantine period for any member of the team. It is a trying situation, but good health is to be protected at all costs in the prep and run-up to race day.
