Every season, there are brand new menu items sure to please, along with the tried and true—but wholly inventive—creations that First Watch offers everyday. Dedicated to featuring fresh seasonal produce from local growers whenever possible, First Watch is always coming up with exciting new ways to combine healthy and delicious. Right now, you can indulge in the loaded smoked salmon bagel, a toasted NY everything bagel (made in da' Bronx) topped with scallion cream cheese, sliced cucumber, tomato, Wild Alaska Smoked Sockeye Salmon, house-pickled red onions and lemon dressed arugula. Served with a side of fresh fruit. Or check out the Shrimp & Grits, their take on this Lowcountry classic featuring sautéed shrimp and Cajun andouille sausage reduced with chicken stock, house-roasted tomatoes, onions, green peppers and scallions, and served over Bob's Red Mill Cheddar Parmesan cheese grits, with artisan ciabatta toast. Maybe you'd like to spice things up with their Pork Carnitas Omelet—savory pork carnitas, house-roasted onions, fresh avocado, Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Topped with tomatillo hollandaise, chive cream, Cotija cheese, pico de gallo and fresh cilantro. Served with a side of black beans. You'll get a glow on with their Golden Glow drink, blending pineapple, turmeric, orange, coconut water and lemon. And of course you can always get First Watch's famous Million Dollar Bacon that's baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle. Or try the mouth-watering Vanilla Chai Latte Pancakes with fresh sliced bananas, raspberries, maple-chai almond butter and super-seed crunch. If you're into counting calories or pinching pennies, you'll be all about the Tri-Athlete, which crosses the finish line under ten dollars and only 550 calories! This champion's breakfast gets you an egg white omelet with house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and green chilies; and it comes with housemade pico de gallo, whole grain artisan toast, all-natural house preserves and fresh fruit. But that's just a taste of what First Watch has to offer. Corporate Chef Shane Schaibly has his finger on the pulse of the industry, and is always keeping things fun and fresh, farm to fork. He's putting out dishes like the Elevated Egg Sandwich; with its over-easy cage-free egg, bacon, Gruyere cheese, fresh smashed avocado, mayo and lemon dressed arugula on a brioche bun and a side of fresh, seasoned potatoes!
