Paxton L. of Little Rock
has a new four-legged
friend at home, Boomer
the labradoodle. Boomer
is five months old and is the
perfect addition to the family.
However, when they went to pick
up Boomer they accidentally got
his sister. They were halfway home
when they realized it, and had to drive an
hour back to get Boomer, but they've been
inseparable ever since!
Paxton has been taking Boomer to training classes
and Boomer has been an incredible student. Paxton has
taught him to sit, stay, down, and is ready and willing to
learn many more tricks! Paxton taught Boomer to hit a
bell on the door when he needs to go potty, but Boomer
is so smart he figured out he can
hit the bell any time he wants to
go outside. Paxton wishes they
hadn't used the bell because
he hits it all the time now, even
when he doesn't have to go
potty.
Paxton and Boomer go for
walks, play in the backyard,
and they both loved playing in
the snow in February. Paxton
can't wait for summer to see if
Boomer likes to swim as much
as he does. Boomer will eat any
kind of treat Paxton gives him,
but especially likes peanut butter,
and loves a good ear rub.
