Welcome to Branson
When I was offered
the opportunity
to relocate to the
Branson area to
pursue my career
way back in 1994,
I was thrilled! I
couldn't wait to get
to know the people
and experience the
beauty of the Ozarks.
I wanted to meet the
entertainers and find
out what drew them
to this progressive
community with the
small town charm. Little did I know these 27 years later, I would
still wake up every day marveling at the gorgeous hills and
sparkle of the lakes.
As a native southwest Missourian, I had grown up coming
to Branson for family vacations, camping and lake fun, and
even school trips in the late 70's because our band director in
Carl Junction, Missouri was also a member of the Foggy River
Boys who had a show in Branson. I still get excited to go to
one of the state of the art theatres to witness the unbelievable
talent and amazing professional caliber productions. I've seen
hundreds of shows, visited countless attractions and met many
top-notch performers and one common denominator is that
people that work and live in this gem in the Ozarks we call
Branson…LOVE their audiences and visitors!
Whether this is your first visit or you visit the Branson area
several times a year, we hope that you will find this issue of The
