Cream butter, marga- rine and sugar well. Sift flour, salt, baking pow- der and cocoa together. Add 5 eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add flour mixture alternately with milk. Add vanilla last. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes in a greased then dusted with cocoa in a Bundt pan. BANANA PUDDING Jane King 3 small pkgs. Instant vanilla pudding 5 cups milk 1 small carton sour cream 1 large Cool Whip (leave some for topping) Bananas Vanilla wafers Mix first 4 ingredients RECIPE CORNER Ed. OVEN BAKED STEW BEEF Christine Ramseur Trim off some of the fat. Add 1 can onion soup and 1 can mushroom soup un- diluted. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 3 h ours. Serve over rice. LAYERED PEA SALAD Arlene Barrett 2 c. shredded lettuce 1 c. celery, chopped 1 large Spanish onion, sliced 1 c. sliced water chestnuts 1 No. 2 can early peas, drained 1 c. mayonnaise Sugar Parmesan cheese Put the above in layers. Spread with mayonnaise. Sprinkle lightly with sugar and Parmesan cheese. Cover and refrigerate sev- eral hours before serving. Mix together before serv- ing.
