Eta Chapter of Sigma Chi, Alumni and Friends
"We had weekly dinners
that required bottles of
wine cheaper than $3,
including tax, and ate
in the Sigma Chi dining
room at a table by the
kitchen. e dinner was
usually followed by a
study-procrastination
game or two of foosball
in the basement," Bruce
said. "Any social event or
time spent on the Sigma
Chi deck was memorable.
Football weekends, swaps,
date parties—all go down
as some of my favorite
Sigma Chi memories."
Bruce has strengthened his
Sigma Chi connections by remaining involved
with Eta initiations and giving talks at chapter
meetings. e inter-generational friendships
Bruce has forged are proof that Sigma Chi has
a strong foundation at Ole Miss. He's calling
upon his brothers to uphold their lifelong
commitment to Sigma Chi by contributing to
the capital campaign.
"I'm proud to call the Eta Chapter my brothers,"
Bruce said. "I made many lifelong friends and
memories and learned lessons for a lifetime."
Karen added, "Bruce and I both share the same
passion about helping with the renovations of
the Sigma Chi house," Karen said. "We hope
our grandson, Clarke, and hopefully future
grandsons, will be Eta Sigs one day. Our intent
is that every Eta Sig has the very best experience
being a Sigma Chi as our family did."
