Kappa Kappa Gamma 3 We rented out a bowling alley, filling all of the lanes, and we exceeded our goal of $3,000! All of the proceeds will go to Reading is Fundamental, Kappa's national philanthropy, and Kappa Kidney Camp, our local charity, which supports a summer camp for children who suffer from kidney complications. Spirit Weekend Leads to Better Recruitment Upon returning from winter break, the chapter participated in our first Spirit Weekend. This was a great way for us to prepare for formal recruitment by learning songs and participating in workshops. Throughout the three days, we bonded as a chapter and reflected on the positive impact Kappa has had on our college experience. We had an unbelievable recruitment, both as a chapter and a community. Ohio State, for the first time, had to add a recruitment round, due to the increased number of potential new members we had. Undergraduates Are Leaders on Campus While we have many ladies involved within Kappa, even more are active in our community. We now have three women serving on the Panhellenic Association. As a chapter, we volunteered for Community Commitment, helping areas in Columbus and for many other local charities. Further, we enjoy attending other fraternity and sorority philanthropy events regularly. We want to thank the alumnae who toured Beta Nu during Homecoming last Fall. It is inspiring to see how strong your Kappa friendships are even years after your active days. We really enjoyed singing songs and hearing memories from living in the Dreamhouse. On behalf of Beta Nu, I would like to thank you for your support, and, as always, we would love to have you stop by for a visit anytime!
