Dancing Necklace
Like petals pirouetting in a
spring breeze, the beautiful
organic shapes of these fresh-
water cultured pearls look like
they are dancing. I created
sculptural 22k gold links with
joyful uplifted arms to embrace
the unique shapes and bring
them together into a single
rhythm, like dancers holding
hands in a fi eld of fl owers.

These earrings are called Luna,
after the goddess of the moon,
the sister of Aurora (dawn).
The silken sheen of pearls has
often been likened to the
beauty of the moon.
What makes these beautiful,
glowing half pearls so special is
their intense pink-lavender
coloration, which is quite rare.
