And we start off with a new hero—Victor Glover. As you read this, he is living aboard the International Space Station orbiting high above us all. He is the very first African American astronaut who will remain on the Space Station for over six months. He left in mid-November and his feet won't touch Earth until sometime in May or June 2021. Katherine Johnson was another African American who made her name with NASA and spaceflight. She was a mathematical genius and won many awards for her work. She was given the nickname The Human Computer. There's so much in this issue to expand our minds. What would we do without a wedge? Find the answer on Pages 6 and 7.
