Restrictions scheduled on State Route 95 in Parker, AZ Jan. 4 through Feb. 28 Drivers should expect delays and al- low extra travel time The Arizona Department of Trans- portation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on State Route 95 in Parker beginning Mon- day, Jan. 4. Contractors are scheduled to con- tinue work on this multi-phase project to upgrade sidewalks, curb ramps and driveways to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. The nature of a design-build project is to design elements of the project while other elements are under con- struction, making it different from a typical project that goes into con- struction after the design process is complete. This allows for a shorter project duration and reduced costs. Access to all businesses, schools, and residences at all time during this multi-phase project will be maintained The following restrictions will occur from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastbound Riverside Drive right lane will be closed. The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph. A 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. Note: Pedestrians are to follow de- tour signs to access the opposite side of the road between California Avenue to Bronco Avenue. Learn more about feature upgrades in your area by visiting https:// azdot.gov/.../southwest-region- ada-features-upgrades Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other un- foreseen factors. For more infor- mation, please call the ADOT Bi- lingual Project Information Line at 855.712.8530 or go to azdot.gov/ contact and select Projects from the drop-down menu.
