News of National Peanut Butter
Day on January 24 is spreading
like peanut butter, and I'll bet if
you ask most any kid what their
favorite sandwich is, they'll say
PB&J.
One report notes that the
average child will eat 1,500
peanut butter and jelly
sandwiches before graduating
from high school!
I asked a few kids what they like
about PB&J.
Eight-year-old Blaine from Valley
Springs: "It's creamy and flavory.
The sweet and salty together
tastes good."
And Amy, 10,
from Fayetteville:
"I like peanut butter
sandwiches without
jelly. My sisters like jelly
sandwiches without
peanut butter."
Three-year-old Collins,
also from Fayetteville: "I
like the jelly and the peanut
butter together in my
mouth."
