THE LION TATTLER Leave Your Mark at Illinois Beta! Brick Pavers Available for Purchase T he outdoor social area of Illinois Beta is one of the most used areas of the chapter house. During the warmer months, it's a place to cook out, socialize, and share in brotherhood. In recent years, a new fence and seating areas have been added to enhance the space. With your help, we would like to expand the space by adding brick pavers that will allow us to recognize Illinois Beta alumni. We are offering alumni a chance to purchase a laser- engraved brick paver for a tax-deductible gift of $100 or more to the Illinois Beta Chapter Allocation Fund. These unique brick pavers will feature an ΣAE flag, the name of the buyer, class year, and badge number. Contributions in the memory of a brother who has passed into Chapter Eternal are also encouraged—a great way to permanently recognize those who have meant the most to us. The engraving on the paver will be covered in a black epoxy to endure the ever-changing climate that the Midwest is known. Once your contribution has been made, an Illinois Beta alumni volunteer will contact you with a few questions about your brick.
