We've gone back for nearly every football game and love driving by the house and meeting the young men there. It's been a long time watching all of the changes going on in the house." - Susan Benny - "The big thing to me about AGR was all of the brothers and all of the pledges all had an ag background… Every brother that I became acquainted with and became good friends with, when we all graduated we all had independent businesses that we stayed in. Even to this day, I still have five or six brothers still in agriculture. We felt the opportunity that we could donate some money to the AGR house to build the new house because what we are missing in the state of Florida now is agriculture. Whether it's cotton, or beans, or cattle, or citrus, it's diminishing. We need more agriculture guys. So we felt, man, what a great opportunity to donate the money to the house and keep it in the top 10. Keep it attractive to these guys who want to major in agriculture or have an ag background that they are interested in joining this fraternity." Tim Garman '85 ––"While I was in school, the AGR house really became my refuge, my place to come to. What I want is to make the point about the new house and how it is the center of collegiate life for the actives. It's also a place for the alumni to come. So, it's deeply important that there is a place for all of us brothers to come to."
