A-Tau Observer www.ATOnebraska.org 2 A t the onset of the pandemic, we could have never imagined how COVID-19 would turn the world upside down. While Gamma Theta Chapter and UNL have faced several challenges stemming from the pandemic, we've also realized how fortunate we are to have Alpha Tau Omega's core values instilled in us. With those foundational values in mind and to secure the future of Gamma Theta Chapter, we've established the ATW Alumni Club to provide financial stability, prepare for educational improvements, and preserve the old stone fortress. One of the most important tasks we have as alumni is to work together to support our brotherhood, no matter how long ago you graduated. The bonds of ATW are everlasting and provided many of us with lifelong friends. The men who joined before us gave back to our Fraternity so we could experience all our brotherhood has to offer at the University of Nebraska. But what does "giving back" mean to you? Is it volunteering your time? Is it sharing your gifts and talents mentoring others? Is it contributing to an organization or cause close to your heart? During our capital campaign, many brothers gave back by pledging their financial support. We hope that every brother, whether they supported the capital campaign or not, will join us and become a member of the ATW Alumni Club to ensure future generations of Gamma Theta men will thrive at UNL and beyond. Please consider making a gift of $1,433 and the annual dues of $143.30, or join the ATW Alumni Club for $143.30 and renew your membership annually. Your support will go far in enriching the lives of the young men following in our footsteps at UNL. The funds raised through the ATW Alumni Club will be used for general maintenance, debt reduction, and hosting alumni events. Gamma Theta is a chapter of outstanding young men who strive to carry on the traditions of ATW. They are fortunate to live in one of the most up-to-date chapter houses on campus, but it's up to us as alumni to keep ATW's legacy alive at UNL. We need all hands on deck moving forward. When we come together as brothers, we can achieve more. Please fill out the remittance envelope in this issue and join the ATW Alumni Club today! By joining, you will show your appreciation for what your Gamma Theta experience afforded you and ensure brothers after you will have an opportunity for those same life-shaping opportunities.
