As society continues to weather the challenges of COVID-19, and racial and political unrest, it seems a little kindness—coupled with hope and resilience—could go a long way. It's why we've chosen kindness as a central theme this fall for supporting engaging and empowering Tri Deltas worldwide. TRI DELTA IS LEADDDING NOW Tri Delta is committed to creating an equitable and inclusive experience for our Black, Indigenous, and sisters of color. We have identified some, but not all, of the work to be done in our LEADDD Now Action Plan, available at www.tridelta.org/ leadddnow. One of the first steps Tri Delta has taken to address inequities across the enterprise is the election of five sisters of color to Tri Delta's boards. Executive Board Directors Emily Greer, Rhodes, and Tycely Williams, Wake Forest; Foundation Board Trustees Ashley Baskerville, Cal State/Long Beach, and Diane Petersen, Ohio Wesleyan; and Housing Board Director Caroline Chin, James Madison, have stepped up to lead Tri Delta and lend both their significant professional expertise and their lived experience in unprecedented times. Check out our website and podcast, "Let's Talk Tri Delta," for exclusive interviews with these stellar sisters. The past year has been full of amazing moments and unprecedented circumstances, and we at Theta Omega Chapter have persisted. Over the summer, the Chapter House underwent some mechanical updates. Two new make-up air units were installed on the exterior of the house. These units provide fresh conditioned outside air into the facility. This project addressed a negative air pressure and humidity concern within the house. We are so grateful to Tri Delta Housing for making this project a priority. Throughout the summer, chapter leadership worked diligently with our partners at Tri Delta Housing to prepare for moving 63 women into 1630 Oxford Road this August. In addition to readying the Chapter House for safe social distancing, several processes The classes of 2019 and 2020 held their Big/Li le Reveal earlier this fall. It was so much fun adding a new member to each pledge family along with having some great themes for the reveals.
