They are open Sunday thru Wednes- day, 7:30am to 2:30pm. Dump your trash for free at the Transfer Station. Please cover your load. For more info call the Main landfill 928- 916-1253 or Main office at 928-854- 9152. The transfer station is locat- ed north of Town, just off Hwy. 95, near the Sewer Treatment Plant. How to help the Quartzsite food bank PTO to host Turkey Bingo Nov. 20th As more people are coming back to our community the Quartzsite Food Bank is busier than ever. We need donations and canned and boxed groceries. You can help by putting a box in your RV Park, business, or organi- zation to collect groceries. If you have groceries to donate please drop off at the food bank Tuesday and Thursday 8-noon or at the Dol- lar General, Road Runner Market, Coyote Fresh Foods, or Horizon Community Bank. We also recycle cans & bottles at the food bank. Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are coming up and we will need help with donations and tur- keys and hams to make the Family Holiday Baskets. Fundraisers: Santa's Workshop Art & Craft Festival will be Nov 28 & 29 at Tyson Wells, call 360-635- 1367 for vendor info. Volunteers needed Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday starting at 7 am or if you can't make that call for more info on other times. Stand Down Resource Fair Nov. 21 There will be a Stand Down Re- source Fair for Quartzsite area homeless veterans and others on Saturday, November 21st, 2020 from 10am-3pm. The location will be at the Old Ted's Truck Stop, located at 965 W. Main Street, directly across from the Yacht Club.
