FSPAC IS BORN… to defend and enhance the fraternal experience. FSPAC hosts first Congressional Dinner. State court rejects Harvard's motion to dismiss freedom of association lawsuit; FSPAC CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY. Advocacy expands beyond CHIA to include freedom of association, anti-hazing, and Title IX issues. Fraternal Government Relations Coalition (FGRC) is created. The Fraternity and Sorority Action Fund (FSAF) is established as an arm of FSPAC. Stand Up To Harvard campaign commences; federal and state freedom of association lawsuits filed against Harvard University for its sanctions against single-sex groups; Anti-Hazing Coalition formed; House passes CHIA as part of a comprehensive tax bill.
