FIJI Jayhawker 2 Our Executive Cabinet and House Corporation met numerous times in deep discussion this summer to develop a plan for our house to re-open and stay open for the fall semester. I truly believe the plan we have in place will go great. Our members have reacted well to the changes that have been made. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to have any guests this semester due to COVID-19. We are in this fight together and we will follow the precautionary protocols that have been put in place to slow the spread of the virus. Although this semester will be frustrating at times, we are confident that we will come out of it better men and better Brothers. These times remind us all how important it is to have each other, and we hope this leads us into a great spring semester and beyond. Our slogan from Nationals is "Building Courageous Leaders." This past year has required constant courage from our members as we navigate these uncertain times. It is in times like these where true leaders are forged and take charge. We will get through this together and ensure that every Phi Gam does his part in courageously leading our great Chapter. There is a reason our great Fraternity honors persistence. We must always remember in troubling times to remain persistent and to be forward thinkers. Fraternally, William Wilk '21 Chapter President kufijipresident@gmail.com Perge! Building Courageous Leaders Our 2021 Rock Chalk Revue Directors have been selected and we are partnered with Chi Omega. Since we have to socially distance, our group photo has been put together digitally. (Continued from page 1) A s with most things last spring, our recruitment process had to take a drastic shift. At the start of March, we had 10 pledges signed with the majority of our recruiting finished online. Barret Zorn '21, Alex True '22, and Eric Angrisano '22 did an unbelievable job adapting to the changes. They conducted numerous phone calls, Zoom calls, and emails to communicate with prospects during the lockdown, signing 23 young men who come from seven different states. We are confident these men will be forged into the courageous leaders Phi Gams are, and that they will go on to do great things for the Chapter and in life. 2020 Recruitment Recap Welcome, New Members!
