They are open Sunday thru Wednes- day, 7:30am to 2:30pm. Dump your trash for free at the Transfer Station. Please cover your load. Early Voting in Quartzsite planned for 10am-1pm Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020 at Town Hall, 465 N. Plymouth Camel Express will offer free rides to polls. Call 928-927-4333. Registered voters have two options for mail-in voting in Arizona: sign up for the Permanent Early Voter List to automatically be sent a ballot-by- mail for all elections in which you're eligible to vote or request a one-time ballot-by-mail. You can sign up for the permanent list online or print out the application and send it to your county recorder's offi ce. You can also request a one-time bal- lot-by-mail online at https://ser- vicearizona.com/or by calling or e- mailing your county recorder's offi ce, Early voting in Quartzsite Oct. 15 or by downloading and fi lling out the application to send to your recorder's offi ce by e-mail, mail or fax. The deadline to get on the Per- manent Early Voter List and to request a one-time ballot by mail is Oct. 23 at 5 p.m. Mail-in ballots will be sent out be- ginning the week of Oct. 7. Arizona uses tamper-evident en- velopes, ballot tracking, signature verifi cation, and other measures to ensure votes are secure and prop- erly counted. Make sure to sign the affi date or your vote won't count. You may track the status of your bal- lot at My.Arizona.Vote to confi rm that it was received and counted. You can also verify that your vote by mail ballot has been received with the county recorder's offi ce in the county in which you voted. What is being done to make poll- ing places safe from coronavirus? Arizona is providing masks, hand sanitizer, single-use pens, cleaning supplies, signs, other equipment and special training for poll workers. The secretary of state's offi ce has a guide to voting safely amid the pandemic. When is Election Day? When are polls open? Tuesday, Nov. 3.
