Hair, Nails, and Pedicure Services SUMMER HOURS: TUES - FRI The wait continues. We are awaiting an announcement from the Divi- sional Commander in Phoenix as to our reopening date. Keep checking our Facebook Page or Group, or you can call, too. When we do open, we will have these new protocols in place. We will fol- low CDC and the state small business guidelines. Our carts, baskets, and register counter will be sanitized after each use. We will limit the number of shoppers at one time and use the one camel six-foot safe distancing practices. Face coverings will be required. Hand sanitizer will be available. We will take limited donations inside the front porch area. Carts will be labeled so that you can self-sort your items. We do have to hold items for 72 hours before they can be brought into the building. Please understand with this requirement we cannot take large truck loads of donations at this time. All these modifi cations are subject to change. We all will need to be fl ex- ible and loving to each other as we work together. I am continuing the curbside sales of items posted on our Salvation Army Thrift Store, Quartzsite AZ Facebook page. I have a very nice men's mountain bike, vintage metal toys, Coleman Road Trip Grill, small HO train set, large popcorn machine, and more. Also, if there is something you need, don't hesitate to call and if we have what you want, we can do a curbside sale. The store is pack with treasures, and we have so missed our amazing shoppers. As long as we have memories, yesterday remains. As long as we have hope, tomorrow waits. As long as we have love, today is beautiful. As long as you have God, anything and everything is possible. AMEN Be happy. To date, the 50 states have issued more than 105 million REAL ID-compli- ant driver's licenses and identifi ca- tion cards, representing 38 percent of all driver's licenses and identifi - cation card holders. On October 1, 2021 – less than 13 months away – full enforcement of REAL ID will take effect at all fed- erally regulated airports, federal fa- cilities, and nuclear power plants. The Department continues to urge Americans to obtain a REAL ID-compliant card or acceptable al- ternative, such as a U.S. passport or passport card prior to the October 1, 2021 enforcement deadline. Passed by Congress in 2005 fol- lowing a 9/11 Commission recom- mendation, the REAL ID Act estab- lishes minimum security standards for state-issued driver's licenses and identifi cation cards and prohib- its federal agencies, like the Trans- portation Security Administration, from accepting licenses and iden- tifi cation cards for offi cial purposes from states that do not meet these standards after specifi c deadlines. Because of the potential for con- fusion about the REAL ID Act en- forcement milestones, residents can use the following guidelines to be fully informed and prepared. Check your state-issued driver's license or identifi cation card for the star. REAL ID-compliant cards generally have a star marking in the upper left- or right-hand corner. Most acceptable alternatives, such as state-issued Enhanced Driver's Licenses, do not have the star, but are acceptable for offi cial REAL ID Act compliance purposes. For more information on EDLs, please go to dhs.gov/enhanced-drivers-licens- es-what-are-they. Bring identity documents to the airport that are acceptable for fl y- ing domestically. Check to see if you have the proper identifi cation to fl y at gov/travel/security-screening/ identifi cation. If you need to obtain a new form of ID, please allow suf- fi cient processing time before you travel. For example, the current pro- cessing times for U.S. passports are 6-8 weeks for routine service and 2- 3 weeks for expedited service. Check with the federal agency you plan to visit, in advance, to fi nd out whether identifi cation is required, and if so, what types of identity documents are acceptable. While most Federal agencies will continue to accept non-compliant driver's li- censes and identifi cation cards until the enforcement deadline of Octo- ber 1, 2021, some – like Department of Defense facilities and posts – no longer accept them. Read answers to REAL ID fre- quently asked questions at dhs.gov/ real-id-public-faqs. DHS continues working closely with all states and territories to im- plement REAL ID Act requirements. The women and men of DHS will continue to work tirelessly to keep our country and our people safe.
