BBB Pacifi c Southwest Continues to Award Vital Grants to Small Businesses Recipients share words of praise and appreciation As reopening orders slowly come into effect across state lines, businesses continue to face fi nancial strains until some form of normalcy exists. Better Business Bureau Serving the Pa- cifi c Southwest (BBB) has awarded an addition- al $21,500 through its Main St. Matters Grant Program to businesses experiencing hardship, bringing the total to over $100k granted since its inception. As hundreds of applications go through the review process, the devastating impact of the pandemic weighs heavy on the heart. Even the smallest wins through the BBB Main St. Matters Grant Program allows light to shine at the end of the tunnel. Awardees for this round of funding have been se- lected in part, for the exemplary strides they've made in their communities. Recipients express the gratitude and impact it has made for their business and appreciation for being selected. Weight Being Lifted "Thank you to all the donors of the grant pro- gram and to the staff of BBB who put this all to- gether. I am grateful beyond words and feel that a good amount of weight has been lifted from my shoulders. If I can pay this forward by assist- ing or encouraging other businesses, I would be happy to do so." - Maricopa County Awardee Every Dollar Helps "... any and everything helps during these un- predictable times. And beyond the programs we all know about BBB stepping up and helping us little guys out, - it's moving." - San Diego County Awardee Extended Applications, Apply Today Awards will continue throughout the remainder of 2020 in forms of a $500 or $1,000 grants. Small businesses that operate within BBB Serv- ing the Pacifi c Southwest's service area and have been fi nancially impacted during the COVID-19 crisis may apply.
