Alexia Connellan is an award-winning fi ne jewelry designer based in San Francisco. An artist since childhood, she
honed her creative vision in New York at Columbia University, where she received a BA in Art History & Visual
Arts. She also briefl y studied sculpture at the School of Visual Arts. Alexia soon realized that creating fi ne jewelry
would allow her to combine her passion for sculpture and painting with her love of gemstones. She continued her studies
at the Fashion Institute of Technolog y, receiving both an AAS in Jewelry Design and a Certifi cate in Gemolog y. Her
approach to jewelry design is as meticulous as it is inspired. From painterly design sketches to painstaking hand
craftsmanship, each detail of every heirloom-quality piece is thoughtfully considered. Alexia has won 4 AGTA
Spectrum awards for her work. She resides in California with her playwright husband and energetic 4 year old son.
