Tatiana Fabergé SA is a company founded in 1974 in Geneva, Switzerland by Tatiana Fabergé, the granddaughter of Carl Fabergé. The Tsars Collection, introduced in 2013, includes charms, eggs, earrings, and table eggs designed by Tatiana Fabergé and produced in St. Petersburg, Russia or in some authorized laboratories around the world. The collection includes the original designs of famous Russian jeweler Carl Fabergé. History of Fabergé Carl Fabergé was born in 1846 and attended some of the top schools in Germany and Dresden. After traveling around Europe for several years, he stopped in Frankfurt to study as a craftsman with a well-known jeweler. At the age of 26, he returned to St. Petersburg and continued his father's business and transformed the small atelier into the largest jewelry factory in the Russian Empire and one of the largest in the world. On May 1st, 1885, the Tsar of Russia discovered the talent produced by Carl Fabergé, he ordered his first egg and Fabergé was appointed court jeweler. For over a decade, Fabergé expanded his empire and became the court jeweler for the King of Sweden and majority of the noble courts of Europe. In the history of his company, more than 150,000 pieces of jewelry were produced, and more than 500 master jewelers created there During the Russian Revolution in 1917, the emissaries of the new Russian government entered the atelier of Fabergé and confiscated the eggs, precious stones, documents, drawings, started projects, as well as the location itself.
