The hours are 10:00 am – 2:00 pm with 2 appointments every 15 minutes. Our goal is 25 pints of blood. Currently, the nation’s as well as Cleveland County’s blood supply is critically low and the Senior Center (100 TR Harris Drive, Shelby, NC) is asking for your help to increase the supply. Donating just one pint of blood really is giving the gift of life to up to 3 other individuals, such as accident victims and cancer patients. Help the Senior Center reach its goal (25 pints) and the Center will be eligible for a drawing, that if won would raise $500 for the Center. As a private non-profit organization, the Senior Center could really use an extra $500 during these tough economic times.
