Our Smokey Bear page tells the background story of this famous symbol of fire prevention. On the lighter side, follow the clues on Page 6 to help Rita Rebus find out who invented s'mores—and better still, there's a recipe so we can all enjoy that treat. And there's the story of the great legend Paul Bunyan, who was said to clear the entire Midwest for the settlers.
