Ralph Huff III graduated from UNC- Chapel Hill in 1972. In 1979, he received his North Carolina Real Estate License and began his career in real estate sales. He is a principal partner in Cold- well Banker Advantage and Seacoast Advantage, which has more than 34 offices from Fayetteville to the Virginia line and from Chapel Hill to New Bern to Wilmington and Myrtle Beach; mak- ing it the largest real estate brokerage in the region. In fact, its 17,000 transactions and 1650 agents and $4 billion in volume for 2019 rank it as the largest Coldwell Banker in the nation for both transaction count and sales volume. The Fayetteville office, which Huff purchased in 1990 after operating the office since the 80s has been the No. 1 Coldwell Banker office in America for units sold for offices of its size with 50- 100 agents for six years in a row. In 1991, Huff acted on a lifelong pas- sion to build homes by forming H&H Homes with his wife, Linda. H&H Homes has 160 employees and has built and sold over 8,000 single-family homes in the Carolinas. The corporate office is in Fayetteville with division of- fices in Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington, Myrtle Beach and Greensboro. H&H looks forward to growing its presence in the Carolinas by over 1,000 homes in the next year. Home sales for 2020 will be over $300 million. H&H Homes is consistently ranked as one of the top 100 builders in the country by Builder Magazine since 2008. Ralph credits his wife of 47 years, Linda, a former music teacher, for building H&H into the great company it is through her decade long leadership in the early years of the company when she ran the entire operation while he focused on sales. Ralph and Linda's love of the commu- nity has led them to contribute money to worthwhile causes in which they believe. In 2015, Ralph Huff created the Vision 2026 Committee of 100 influential local business leaders to keep Fayetteville moving forward.
