3 Emily Heinz Drury University – Animation and Soccer "Emily is an observant, funny and thoughtful young woman who has grown tremendously over the years while keeping her strong central core of honesty, kindness, and toughness intact. She has been a great advisee and the rest of her advising, and her advisor, will miss her a lot next year." Mr. Knudson, Advisor Sam Hindman University of Kansas - Engineering "I can always completely depend on Sam because he is a tremendous leader that treats everyone with patience, kindness, and respect. I would say that Sam's greatest gift as a young man is his generosity with his time, treasure, and talent. This world needs more people like Sam! I am excited to see where life takes you!" Ms. Heim, Advisor Luke Hornberger Engineering and Baseball "Over the years, Luke has taught me that there are so many different ways to 'talk.' There is nothing quiet about Luke's presence on the court or on the mound. He communicates through his honor, his loyalty, his determination, and his top-notch pumpkin and advising photo ideas. We hear you, Luke, and we wish you the best of luck!" Mr. Pulsinelli, Advisor Emily Ice University of Arkansas - Nursing "Emily has a solid sense of who she is, where she wants to go and what her place in society will be. We will miss her laugh, her ability to say out loud what everyone else is thinking and her sense of adventure! Take that enthusiasm with you to Arkansas and share it with everyone you come into contact with. They will all be better people for it!" Mrs. McCaffrey, Advisor Kate Jackson Loyola University Chicago – Environmental Policy "I've known Kate for a while now and I have to say that it has been wonderful to see her grow. I appreciate that she has used the time at Seabury to grow intellectually and try new things both on and off campus. I wish her wellness, happiness and peace as she begins the next stage of life and learning." Mr. Rowe, Advisor Wil Johnson University of Kansas - Engineering "You are such a bright young man. I find that even with all that you have going on in your life, you find a way to keep a positive spirit, and to encourage everyone around you to be kind. I am excited to see all the wonderful things you invent and change, because the world of technology is waiting for someone like you!" Coach Rios, Advisor Jinu Jung Undecided "Jinu joined our advising group his junior year, but it is difficult to imagine it without him. As a Senate Representative for his senior class, he has shown that he wants to do good for others. We are thankful that Zoom has helped him be with us while he is also at home. Jinu, we will miss you giving us a hard time and making us laugh, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!" Ms. Schrader, Advisor AJ Mann JCCC - Elementary Education "When I was new and acclimating myself to the Seabury community, AJ was always willing to explain customs and traditions that I was just getting used to, and in the most friendly and courteous way. I am a better person today for having known AJ, even for such a short time. You will be missed more than you can imagine." Mr. Neuteboom, Advisor Logan Mathis Coe College - Psychology, Literary Magazine and Cheer "Logan is thoughtful and creative, mature and responsible, kind and sympathetic to others. I would go as far as to say that she is wise, which is a rare quality to find in someone her age (or any age, for that matter). She is a real leader in her advising group, and she contributes greatly to every classroom she enters. Coe College will be lucky to have her on campus next year!" Mr. Patterson, Advisor Malcolm Maude Wooster Polytechnic Institute "What a gift your quick wit, your sense of fun, and your quick laugh have been to our group. You taught us that sitting in the same chair with someone else is better than sitting alone, and I hope that, and the rest of your legacy will carry on!"Mrs. Bryan, Advisor Josh Meschke Undecided "Joshua has been my advisee since he began at Seabury. Quiet. A person of few words. But when he speaks it's with purpose and meaning. I wish Joshua wellness, happiness and peace as he enters this next stage of life and learning." Mr. Rowe, Advisor Henry Nelson University of Arkansas - Computer Engineering and Spanish "Henry, you are a polite, intelligent, funny young man. It has been my true pleasure to have you in my advising. Watching what places you will go and the things you will accomplish will be one of my favorite things in the coming years. To misquote the movie… Run, Henry, Run!" Mr. Weaver, Advisor Alex Porter Grinnell College "Alex is such an exceptional young man of character, grit, and graciousness. He always steps up when you need him. I hope he is as proud of himself as I know his family, friends, and school community are. We wish you all the happiness and success you deserve!" Madame Derby, Advisor Nick Porter Gap Year "Nick is one of the best people I know. Nick is helpful, thoughtful, courteous, and always upbeat. I honestly don't think I have ever seen him have a bad day! Nick, I will miss your infectious smile and gracious demeanor. Be well!" Mr. Neuteboom, Advisor Jake Rack Undecided "Watching Jake grow and come into his own over the last four years has been a joy and an adventure. I am so proud of how Jake has grown over the years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors." Mr. LaRocca, Advisor Grayson Rader University of Kansas - Engineering "I came to Seabury three years ago and your funny, witty personality made everyone feel comfortable, including me and I had just met you! Your heart is genuine and your smile contagious. Those qualities are going to take you far, and wherever you go, it will be happy and loved. Keep doing the things you love, and keep making the world smile!" Coach Rios, Advisor Emma Silvestri St. Olaf College - Music Education "Not only is Emma smart, funny, and nearly capable of breaking glass with just her voice (!), but she is also kind and generous and never thinks twice about putting herself out there to speak her mind or help someone else. She has truly become an inspiring leader in our weird little advising family, and I am so happy many others get to hear her voice as she ventures out into the world." Ms. Barbour, Advisor
