The May 1, 2013 Cinco de Mayo Dinner On Friday, May 3rd at 6pm, the eighth grade class at Quartzsite Elementary School will host a Cinco de Mayo Festive Family Dinner Meal includes Carne, tortillas, beans, rice, dessert with chips and salsa. Adult $7. Smaller portion for child is $5. Please purchase tickets in advance to guarantee a meal. Friday May 3rd Quartzsite Elementary School Gymnasium 6:00 PM All proceeds will benefit the annual end of year eighth grade trip Quartzsite Recreation Dept. will hold a Family Fun Day at Town Park Monday, May 27th at 4pm. There'll be water fun, games and food. Quartzsite Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition and Cenpatico sponsors the event and will also have some fun surrounding the "beer goggles" (Impairment Goggles) which simulate the effects of being drunk.
