5 www.texaspike.com Austin Alumni Attorneys Host Career Advisory Session for Undergrads T exas Pike pledge brothers David Dyer '08 and Taylor Randazzo '08 co-hosted a Career Advisory Session for Pikes interested in careers in the law on February 1. e Saturday morning bagels and coffee session was held at the downtown Austin offices of DLA Piper. David, an associate in the Intellectual Property Group of Baker Botts, graduated from UT College of Law in 2014. Taylor, a corporate transactional attorney with DLA Piper focuses on energy deals, graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School in 2014. In the session, Taylor and David spoke to 20 Pike undergraduates about preparing for law school, what to expect in law school, and career options for practicing law upon graduation. e Alumni Advisory Board is most grateful to David and Taylor for hosting the event and sharing career experience and advice with Pikes. Board of direCtors A n election for the Beta Mu Building Co. board of directors was held at the corporation's March annual meeting. e following directors sought reelection to one-year terms. ere being no additional nominations, the following individuals were reelected. Several men are headed to graduate school, including the McCombs one-year MPA and healthcare administration master's at TWU. Welcome to Pike Alumni status!
