The La Paz County Park has made the following changes regarding Me- morial Weekend, in efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect public health for residents and visitors: • Tent camping will be suspended until further notice; all tent visitors will be turned away. • All visitors must have a trailer or motorhome to enter the park. The La Paz County park hopes to be back to normal operations after Memorial weekend. All temporary changes are being put into effect, to provide a safe environment for everyone. Please be aware the four-day visit rate has increased to $72 per person. As always, children under the age of 14 years old are free. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and are doing everything we can to ensure families have a fun and healthy visit to La Paz County. Stay At Home Rules Remain In Place At CRIT Reservation Until the End Of the Month The Colorado River Indian Tribes' decision to extend the Stay at Home Resolution until May 31st remains in place despite a decision by the state of Arizona to relax some rules as of May 15th. While Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has released his own criteria to re-open the State of Arizona on May 15th, the rules set forth in the CRIT resolution will remain in place on the CRIT Reservation until the end of the month. During this time CRIT will take a cautious approach in preparations for reopening the reservation. We would also like to reiterate our biggest enterprise the BlueWater Resort and Casino has no date set for reopening. There continues to be discussions and planning as to what that reopening will look like. The Colorado River Indian Tribes is doing all it can to limit infections in the area. We remain committed to working with everyone within our sov- ereign tribal lands to limit the spread of the Coronavirus for the health, safety and welfare of all.
