Guidelines • Sculptures can be built and entered as a group or individual. If you have a group entry, you can also enter another sculpture in the individual division. • Assembled with littered materials that have been picked up in the community. These items CANNOT be natural materials like sticks, leaves, or rocks. • A variety of different types of litter is recommended. • FOUR items from household recycling bins can be included in your sculpture. • Any type of glue adhesive, wire, screws, or nails can be used. • Sculpture can be painted. • Sculpture must be able to transfer locations without falling apart. • Sculpture should not be larger than: length 24" x width 18" x height 24" and not more than 20 lbs. • Any questions contact Linda at lsimpson@uaex.edu or (479) 271-1060. Division for Individual Entry Adult: 20 and up • Youth: age 9-19 • Tots: age 5-8 Division for Group Entry Youth: age 5-19 (ex. Girl or Boy Scouts, 4-H, classroom) Mixed age: Adult & Youth/Tot (ex. Grandma helping kids) Entering Item • Register on-line at https://bentonar.fairwire.com by noon on Friday July 31, 2020. No entry fee. • Enter sculpture on August 1, 2020 - 11:00 am -3:00 pm. Exhibitor number for each person is needed. • Provide the name(s) and age(s) of each person, and date(s) and town(s) of where litter was picked up. • New this year - title the sculpture and write a paragraph about your creation.
