4-H Table Setting Contest Rules: • Table Settings must be put into place on August 3rd between 10:00 and 5:00. • Must be a Cloverbud (age 5-8) Junior(age 9-13) or Senior(14-19) 4-H member. • Each exhibit must have a theme (birthday, holiday, football party, etc.) and a suitable menu. Menu and theme should be written or typed and placed with the table setting (frame, etc). • All items to be used for table setting and arrangements are to be brought and set up at one time. Lightweight items should be taped down. • Participants will be provided a 24" x 24" table space for each setting. Only one place setting will be allowed on each table. Participants are required to furnish their own tablecloths, mats, china, flatware, glassware, etc. • Participants will be the ONLY persons allowed in the table setting area. • No coaching of participants by adults or other youth will be permitted during the time that the exhibit is being set up or judged. • All exhibits will be placed in a roped off area. However, the fair association cannot be held responsible for any loss or damages to property.
